Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in the Oil and Gas sector. The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that the products and processes meet industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess a strong understanding of quality management principles within the oil and gas field.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality standards for products, materials, and processes in the oil and gas sector.
2. Conduct thorough inspections and quality tests on components, equipment, and materials, ensuring compliance with industry specifications and project requirements.
3. Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols.
4. Investigate and analyze root causes of quality problems, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and oversee their implementation.
5. Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure external products and materials meet quality standards.
6. Collaborate with external regulatory bodies and certification agencies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
7. Prepare detailed quality reports, including data analysis, trends, and improvement recommendations.
8. Assist in the development and review of project documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and specifications.
9. Conduct training sessions for staff on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Proven experience in quality engineering within the oil and gas industry.
3. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and practices relevant to oil and gas operations.
4. Proficiency in conducting various quality tests, inspections, and non-destructive testing methods.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
6. Detail-oriented approach to documentation and data analysis.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
