We are now looking for a Head of Product to lead our product strategy and execution. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a high-impact fintech company on a mission to serve the unbanked and underbanked across the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.

About the Role: As Head of Product, you will own and drive dopay's product strategy and roadmap. You will lead a team of product managers, designers, and engineers to build and enhance our core payroll and financial services platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that our product meets customer needs while aligning with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

This role requires a strong leader with experience in highly regulated industries, deep expertise in emerging markets, and the ability to scale products in both early-stage and late-stage environments.

We are seeking someone who understands how to develop, lead, and manage a high-performing agile team, a leader who can drive velocity and efficiency while maintaining quality and excellence. You should be adept at fostering a culture of agility, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring that product development remains iterative and responsive to business needs. The role will be based at our Cairo or Abu Dhabi offices, and we are open to considering a remote/hybrid role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to scale our payroll and financial services platform in Egypt and new markets
2. Develop product extensions and new features that drive user adoption, engagement, and revenue growth
3. Lead and mentor a team of international product and technology professionals to deliver high-impact products
4. Drive agile methodologies and high-velocity development processes, ensuring teams deliver fast while maintaining high standards
5. Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams to align product development with business priorities
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in Egypt and other target markets, working closely with legal and compliance teams
7. Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including financial institutions, regulators, and technology providers
8. Use data-driven decision-making to prioritize product features and measure success through key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:

1. Experience in highly regulated industries, such as fintech, insurtech, medtech, or financial services
2. A track record of scaling products in emerging markets, preferably in the Middle East and Africa region
3. Strong background in product strategy, execution, and team leadership in both early-stage startups and late-stage scaleups
4. Deep understanding of B2B SaaS, payments, or payroll solutions
5. Experience in building and managing international product and technology teams
6. Proven ability to implement and drive agile processes, improving development velocity and minimizing unnecessary bureaucracy
7. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with C-level executives, investors, and regulators
8. Knowledge of Arabic is beneficial but not required
