Billing Executive- Healthcare

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Executive to join our healthcare team. As a Billing Executive, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate and timely medical claims to insurance companies. You will also reconcile billing accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise. Responsibilities

1. Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for healthcare services.
2. Generate and process patient invoices and billing statements accurately.
3. Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
4. Review and resolve billing discrepancies or errors with patients, insurance providers, and internal departments.
5. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to healthcare regulations.
6. Update patient records with billing and payment information.
7. Assist patients with inquiries related to billing and insurance coverage.
8. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
9. Stay updated on healthcare billing regulations and coding guidelines.
10. Utilize billing software and tools effectively to streamline billing processes.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
2. Relevant certification in Medical Billing and Coding is preferred.
3. Strong understanding of medical billing processes, healthcare regulations, and insurance policies.
4. Proficiency in using billing software and Microsoft Office applications.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
