Job Description
Responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining a wide range of instrumentation devices used in wastewater treatment processes. This includes sensors, transmitters, flow meters, level indicators, analysers, and other instruments that measure parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and flow rates.
Ensure the proper functioning of control systems, such as SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) panels. Responsible for troubleshooting control system malfunctions, performing software updates, etc.
Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance work in compliance with company procedures to minimise plant breakdowns. Carry out instrumentation control and automation maintenance on a variety of wastewater assets. Produce cost-effective improvements to assets and systems.
Investigate the plant failures and carry out any repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid any interruptions in the process.
