MEP Foreman

The MEP Foreman will oversee the day-to-day on-site maintenance and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate properties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. This position requires a hands-on responsible for ensuring that MEP work is executed according to the standards and schedule. The MEP Foreman will be the point of contact between the field team and supervisors, ensuring quality control and smooth operations of maintenance.

Requirements

1. Oversee daily work activities of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams, ensuring compliance with maintenance plans and safety regulations.
2. Collaborate with other maintenance trades (Civil, General, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall maintenance.
3. Inspect ongoing MEP maintenance and installation, ensuring all systems meet required standards and report to supervisor.
4. Ensure the availability of necessary materials, tools, and equipment for MEP work, monitor stock, and requisition supplies as needed.
5. Enforce safety policies and ensure all team members follow safety regulations, ensuring site activities are performed in a safe manner.
6. Maintain daily logs of site activities, report on MEP progress, and communicate to the Supervisor.
7. Ensure that MEP subcontractors understand and perform their scope of work in accordance with the maintenance timeline and quality standards, as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 3 years in Maintenance, with at least 2 years in MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing).
2. ITI or diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification in a relevant trade (mechanical, electrical, or plumbing) preferred.

Skills

1. Team management abilities.
2. Knowledge of equipment and safety regulations.
3. Understand how to read drawings and schematics related to MEP systems.
4. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure.

Licensing

1. Valid driver's license required (LMV).
