The Senior Engineer HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) - Projects - Offshore is responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety standards on offshore projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge and experience in managing HSE aspects of offshore operations. The Senior Engineer HSE collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and provide guidance on best practices for offshore activities.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for offshore projects.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
Provide HSE training and awareness sessions.
Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop corrective action plans.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess HSE performance.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE requirements are met.
Review and approve project plans and procedures.
Stay updated with industry standards and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and support on HSE issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is preferred.
Proven experience in managing HSE aspects of offshore projects.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
