We are currently recruiting for an E-commerce Supervisor (Arabic Speaker) for our client to be based out of Dubai.

Responsibilities

UAE E-commerce Platform Operations Experience:

  • Fully participated in at least 2 successful platform launches, familiar with Middle Eastern maternity category operations.
  • Strong negotiation skills for platform resources (already worked with different platforms).

Independent Site Building & Optimization:

  • Lead Shopify/Magento site development, including domain registration, E3 server setup, and payment gateway integration, delivery 3rd party cooperation.
  • SEO ads optimization and familiar with local language adaptation, local design standards for the Middle Eastern market.

Local Market Insights & Compliance Management:

  • Deep understanding of UAE consumer behavior (e.g., Ramadan shopping peaks, preference for premium organic products).
  • Knowledge of VAT, local report requirements, online product certification.
  • Develop competitor infringement monitoring and response strategies.
  • E-commerce Advertising, including designing online ads content.

Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong partnerships with Noon, Amazon, Mumzworld, FirstCry, and Babystore.
  • Regularly negotiate resources from platform management (homepage banner recommendations, promotional traffic subsidies).

Comprehensive Marketing Planning:

  • Plan integrated online campaigns (festival season, big events).
  • Develop Ramadan/White Friday online marketing strategies, achieving targets.
  • Setting online ads, platforms, social media, and SEO.

Team Management & Performance Reviews:

  • Lead a team, set OKRs, and conduct monthly performance reviews.
  • Establish SOPs for operations, design, and customer service collaboration.
  • Implement talent development strategies with core team turnover ≤ 15%.

Data Analysis & Strategy Iteration:

  • Monitor key metrics (conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV) daily.
  • Analyze user behavior and optimize critical pages, with weekly/monthly summaries for online sales data.

Annual Budget & Profit Management:

  • Prepare an annual e-commerce budget, broken down into monthly ad spending plans and monitor ROI to ensure annual ROAS, with monthly budget deviation.
  • Build revenue forecast models, linking GMV growth with cost inputs, and regularly report to management.

Skills

  • 5+ years in UAE e-commerce operations, familiar with platforms like Noon, Amazon.ae, etc.
  • Experience in building and optimizing their own websites and those with team management experience.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic proficiency preferred, capable of independently checking contracts.
