About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join Madinat Jumeirah Conference & Incentives. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Managing the day-to-day activities of the team.
  2. Motivating and guiding the team to achieve organizational/departmental goals.
  3. Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets.
  4. Leading the team by example by demonstrating compassion, honesty, and integrity.
  5. Ensuring all personnel, clients, and their guests are greeted and attended to in a professional, efficient, and discreet manner, where applicable.
  6. Briefing staff regarding duties before shifts start in their respective domains as applicable to your role and as per your department to ensure the team remains up to date on all directives received from management.
  7. Ensuring Duty rosters are compiled and advising on changes as applicable.
  8. Preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems.
  9. Reporting any operational problems, conflicts, incidents, or irregularities to the Supervisor and highlighting any technical glitches promptly.
  10. Dealing with guests’ inquiries & complaints professionally, recording any relevant details, and notifying the supervisor.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  1. Up to 2 years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality company.
  2. Excellent listening skills and customer orientation.
  3. Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity.
  4. Knowledge of an additional language (desired).
