Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing to evaluate patients' respiratory health
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patients' response to treatments and adjust therapy plans accordingly
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health management techniques
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of respiratory equipment
• Document patients' progress and provide accurate reports to the healthcare team
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
• Valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
