Job Description: Logistics Manager

As a Logistics Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Set up new business for the Freight Forwarding Department.
2. Manage Sales of the Company’s Logistics and Freight Forwarding division in addition to selling the Company’s Products and Services.
3. Your individual target will be an operating profit set by the company per month, with efforts to achieve higher.
4. Achievement of department’s Sales Budget.
5. Ensure consistent profitable growth in sales through positive planning, deployment, and management of Sales Personnel.
6. Identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long term sales and earnings.
7. Collaborate with Management in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
8. Manage quotations for Air freight, Sea freight, Land freight, Warehousing, and Transportation.
9. Analyze cost and profitability in preparing quotations.
10. Set targets.
11. Establish and maintain customer relations at a senior level.
12. Achieve year on year revenue growth.
13. Achieve month on month revenue growth.
14. Negotiate Contracts.
15. Maintain quality customer service to clients.
16. Establish and maintain good relations with suppliers/agents.
17. Oversee debt collection.
18. Also oversee the Logistics operations.
