Junior Business Consultant

Job Responsibilities

1. Analyse financial statements, build financial models, and conduct valuations to identify investment opportunities.
2. Perform market research and competitive analysis to uncover trends and evaluate industry attractiveness.
3. Prepare detailed investment reports and present findings to the management team.
4. Collaborate with portfolio companies to design and implement performance improvement and value-creation plans.
5. Assist in creating financial forecasts and budgets.
6. Identify operational improvements and oversee their execution.
7. Monitor and report on portfolio company performance to the management team.

Deal Execution

1. Support due diligence processes, including financial, legal, and operational reviews.
2. Contribute to deal structuring and negotiations.
3. Assist with the preparation of legal documentation alongside the Senior Counsel.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

1. Minimum 2:1 degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field from a reputable university.

Experience:

1. 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, consulting, or a related field.
2. Experience in a start-up or growth company environment is a plus.

Skills:

1. Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
