Manage and participate in all centralized systems related to plant operation installation, testing, commissioning, and operation maintenance related to MES, ERP, SCADA & BMS systems.
Update on the status of all utilities machinery, production equipment, and filling machine maintenance or other quality issues.
Ensure all machines are updated with backup and supporting software. In case of issues in the program, they can be solved.
Reduce costs related to Automation by 10% by supporting the Project Team with upcoming new lines. Maintain the line within target budget.
Lead and manage the Automation Team in current plant projects and maintenance work-related activities.
Participate and coordinate with process and filler contractors in the design and execution of IT system structures that relate to plant MES, ERP, Automation, Controls, and sequence of handshake controls in process and filling equipment.
Manage the inspection, check, and review of current projects related to Automation, Instrumentation & Controls work daily installation activities at the site.
Manage and lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of main plant utilities automation systems like refrigeration SCADA, IT Network, Access Control, AHU BMS, etc.
Responsible for the smooth operation of the company’s assets by applying GMP and timely execution of the Preventive Maintenance plan.
Conduct routine daily plant walks, ensuring by visual inspection the cleanliness of equipment installations, hence assisting in early detection of faulty conditions (leaks, cracks, etc.).
Maintain and continually strive to improve the department's productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Ensure that any machine issues, breakdowns, or preventive required work are communicated timely to the relevant department.
Prepare and execute all related plant automation PLC’s Preventive Maintenance Program as per the directions given by the department head within standard and approved future program development.
Ensure that plant maintenance is conducted in strict compliance with implemented work instructions, quality standards, and health & safety.
Troubleshoot and diagnose the root cause of frequent failures and provide foolproof, sustainable, and pragmatic solutions keeping in view the capital, process, product, and workforce requirements.
Responsible for maintaining all plant machinery maintenance records, quality records, and entries into the main archive log files, ensuring they are always up to date.
Provide guidance and support to the development of engineering maintenance supervisors and maintenance technicians so that they are accountable for achieving individual, team, and maintenance department goals.
Check that machinery and equipment safety and interlocks are in working condition.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering.
Background in Dairy Manufacturing Industries is preferred.
Wide experience in Technical Engineering Team such as Project Lead, Management, Engineering & Maintenance.
Proficient in computer software programs such as word processors, CAD drawings, spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Projects, and centralized MES/ERP database systems.
Knowledgeable in plant utilities machines and equipment installation, commissioning, and operation such as refrigeration, air-conditioning, boilers, generators, fire pumps, water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and air compressors is an advantage.
Experienced with plant automation and controls such as SCADA, BMS, Network, Access Control, etc.
