Job description
Minimum Roles and Responsibilities but not limited to will be as follows:- To take all precautions to protect the environment.
- Work in such a manner as to ensure self-safety as well as that of co-workers.
- Avail themselves of company internal and any other required training programs as and when required by the management.
- Participate in the daily toolbox talks and follow the instructions from the site coordinators/crew leaders.
- Use and maintain all safety devices provided for the execution of the job as delegated.
- Maintain and properly use all tools under their control and use the right tools for the job.
- Provide fellow employees help with safety attitudes and its requirements.
- Report for work in clothing suitable for work, ensuring that clothes and jewelry worn do not constitute a hazard.
- Perform the work in a safe and alert manner and be aware of the possibility of unseen dangers or situations.
- Not expected to sacrifice their own or others' safety to perform their duties.
- Keep a clean work area and maintain housekeeping.
- Perform AUT, Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing, and TOFD on various types of jobs, liaising with approved procedural requirements.
- Able to perform required calibrations and demonstrations as per the project-specific approved procedures.
- Able to interpret the specific code requirements related to AUT, PAUT, and TOFD.
- Prepare scan plans using ES beam tool or NDT setup builder, collect PAUT data, and be able to do interpretation either in Omni PC or Tomoview.
- Prepare final inspection reports as per the approved procedural requirements.
- Able to perform the inspection activities as per project scope and site conditions to avoid waiting and wastage of resources.
- Able to troubleshoot problems occurring in the NDT equipment of AUT, Phased Array, and TOFD System to support the maintenance engineers.
