Job Description:
Project Management:
Lead the implementation of projects e.g. Strumis MRP system, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, supplier deliverables schedules, payments and quality standards.
Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, milestones, and responsibilities.
System Configuration and Customization:
Ensure system configuration (e.g. Strumis) as per the company's specific manufacturing processes and requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, customize the system and comply with the company standards.
Ensure timely maintenance and optimization of servers, networks, databases, and hardware.
Manage cloud services and virtualized environments.
Data Migration:
Conduct data cleansing and validation activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy during data migration from existing systems to the new system e.g. Strumis.
Training and Support:
Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users to facilitate the adoption of the Strumis MRP system.
Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshooting issues and offering solutions to enhance user experience.
Resolve complex IT issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and system performance.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, inventory management, sales, and finance departments, to gather input and ensure alignment with business goals.
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to management and stakeholders regularly.
System Maintenance and Updates:
Track and assess the performance of existing systems e.g. PMS legacy system, coordinate required adjustments as needed.
Apprise with system upgrades and improvements, ensuring the organization fully utilizes the latest features.
Monitor system performance and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
Work closely with vendors, technical teams and users to implement updates, patches, and custom developments.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to hardware, servers, system/application configurations, processes, training materials, and user manuals.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) will be preferred.
5+ years of experience in implementing MRP systems, preferably Strumis or other similar platforms.
Experience with system integrations and data migration processes.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and stakeholders effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
