Studio Photographer

Job Purpose

• Produce high-quality images to document various events held at Sharjah Coop.
• Operate both traditional and digital cameras as well as utilize traditional and digital printing methods.
• Select and adjust picture composition, subjects, equipment, lighting, and post-processing to achieve desired effects.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare to shoot based on assignment requirements, oversee lighting, styling, image quality, and manage editing retouching.
• Take high-quality, visually interesting product photos in line with Sharjah Coop brand and website design.
• Shoot professional pictures in the location and ensure to obtain required approvals before sharing.
• Maintain a high-quality photo database and ensure all photos are ready to use for all kinds of purposes: promotion, advertising, and social media platforms.
• Ensure all pictures taken are appropriately archived and accessible to retrieve when needed.
• Manage the processing and use of images, discuss technical problems and check for quality.
• Responsible for post-shoot procedures, including selecting the best photos and editing or cleaning up images.
• Retouch general images that include background removal, colour adjustment, shadow adjustment, contrast adjustment, healing, and sharpening.
• Maintain and manage photography equipment.
• Recommend creative ideas to exceed expectations of goals and objectives.
• Assist the team members in exporting and uploading product images in Azure and any other tasks that may arise as required.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager.
