Overview of the role
A Visual Merchandiser has to be tuned in to all areas of popular culture and creativity in order to bring a fresh perspective to a brand. You would be responsible for presenting products in a way that attracts customers and maximizes sales. You could be based at head office or in a store. Travel to different markets and stores to set up displays and give training.
What you will do
- Display the brand by seasonal trends and to be able to mix and match outfits in window/in store as per the Company’s brand standard
- Display window and in store mannequins/torsos to promote the brand’s styling and implementation standard
- Display window and in store mannequins/torsos to promote a specific product or top seller promotion
- Drawing designs and plans by hand or computer
- Deciding how to use space and lighting creatively
- Creating visual merchandising packs to send to each market/store
- Giving feedback to head office and buying teams
- Setting up displays, graphics, arranging action areas and implementation of posters in window/indoor
- Coaching store people/VMs on how products should be displayed on mannequins/torsos in window/in store
- New store openings, the Job holder will be responsible for physically being involved in the placement of graphics and VM displays.

What equips you for the role
Minimum Qualification and Knowledge
Education: University Degree graduate preferably Interior Design, Merchandising, or Fashion
At least 2 years of Visual Merchandise experience in Retail Fashion business
