Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the execution of high-profile real estate construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong contractor background, extensive experience in delivering residential and hospitality projects, and a deep understanding of FIDIC contracts. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills, the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning to handover, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure efficient project execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, government authorities, investors, and other key stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce FIDIC contract management principles, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimization strategies while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues proactively to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams to foster collaboration and performance excellence.
• Report project progress, challenges, and financial status to senior management and stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• 18+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role in the UAE.
• Strong background in contracting, with experience managing major real estate developments.
• Proven expertise in FIDIC contracts and international construction standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience in liaising with government entities, investors, and clients.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and consultants.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, cash flows, and project costs.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-end residential and hospitality projects in the region.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, or CIOB are advantageous.
• Previous experience working with large-scale UAE-based developers or contractors.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction regulations and permitting processes.
