Senior Estimator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for interior fit-out projects, with 8-10 years of experience in the UAE. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring accurate cost estimation for projects in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the estimation team in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
2. Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to assess the scope of work.
3. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements.
4. Prepare and submit cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses.
5. Conduct site visits to assess the requirements and conditions for accurate estimation.
6. Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities that may affect the project cost.
7. Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and are completed within deadlines.
8. Provide guidance and support to junior estimators and assist in their professional development.
9. Maintain and update a database of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
10. Assist in contract negotiations and communicate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
11. Stay up to date with industry trends, pricing changes, and new materials or techniques.

Qualifications:

1. 8-10 years of experience in estimating, specifically in the interior fit-out industry (required).
2. Proven experience leading a team of estimators.
3. Strong knowledge of UAE market conditions and cost structures.
4. Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Proficient in using estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Valid UAE Driving License (required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
