TUG MASTER

Day-to-day operations:

1. Navigate the tug safely and effectively.
2. Execution of towing assistance as required by pilots or dock masters while docking/undocking or berthing/unberthing of all vessels in DDW-D.
3. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
4. Ensure overall maintenance & housekeeping are taken care of on a day-to-day basis.
5. Regular checks on tug equipment including lifesaving apparatus & firefighting equipment.
6. Report any abnormalities during tug operations.
7. Ensure that all safety, quality & environment requirements in the yard are followed.

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

1. STCW Certificate.
2. Experience handling ASD Tug/Conventional Tugs.
3. Port experience within Gulf preferable.
4. Less than 500 GRT Tug Master Licence.
