TUG MASTER
Job description
Day-to-day operations:
- Navigate the tug safely and effectively.
- Execution of towing assistance as required by pilots or dock masters while docking/undocking or berthing/unberthing of all vessels in DDW-D.
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
- Ensure overall maintenance & housekeeping are taken care of on a day-to-day basis.
- Regular checks on tug equipment including lifesaving apparatus & firefighting equipment.
- Report any abnormalities during tug operations.
- Ensure that all safety, quality & environment requirements in the yard are followed.
Education/Skills/Qualifications:
- STCW Certificate.
- Experience handling ASD Tug/Conventional Tugs.
- Port experience within Gulf preferable.
- Less than 500 GRT Tug Master Licence.
