Courier Dispatcher
Job description
Responsibilities
- Dispatch couriers for deliveries, ensuring efficient routes and timely deliveries
- Monitor all incoming orders and prioritize based on urgency and delivery requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, including tracking numbers and proof of delivery
- Communicate with couriers regarding any changes or updates to delivery instructions
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Monitor courier performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any delivery-related issues and ensure optimal service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a dispatching or similar role
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with logistics software and databases
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
