Electrical Engineer- Designer

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER- DESIGNER

Experienced Electrical Engineer- Designer needed for immediate start. Must have proven experience in designing electrical systems, preparing drawings, and collaborating with other engineers. Experience with AutoCAD and relevant electrical codes is required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Design, implement, and ensure compliance of electrical systems and installations with project requirements, codes, and standards.
• Select and specify electrical equipment and components.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in electrical engineering.
• Perform and conduct electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, power distribution designs, equipment selections for building projects and other engineering calculations.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical components and systems.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into building designs effectively.
• Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure the proper installation and functionality of electrical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years UAE Consultancy experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• ADQCC (Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council) certificate.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or Dialux.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards applicable to electrical systems in the UAE.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
