Registered Nurse (RN) Job Duties

• Effectively implement patient care plans.
• Perform various patient testing and administer medications.
• Give quality care to patients requiring intensive nursing care, in accordance with established policies and procedures of the facility.
• Document and maintain consumer medical records, recording all changes as they occur.
• Make rounds with physicians, document medication changes, and notify proper staff of changes.
• Effectively handle emergencies.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License in the state you are applying.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of current work experience, preferably in a skilled nursing environment.
• Must be able to act effectively in emergency situations.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
