Purchase coordinator - NAFFCO
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms for materials and services required by the company.
- Review purchase requisitions and create purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure purchase orders are accurate and meet their requirements.
- Track and report on purchase orders shipments and delivery status.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding pricing, quality, and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchase transactions and supplier information.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations and laws.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing software.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
