Make your mark as a HSE Advisor at Horizon Geosciences!

The HSE Advisor will report directly to the Head of SHEQ and Assistant SHEQ Manager; they will work closely with all onshore and offshore staff to ensure that conformity with all matters relating to company HSE is being adhered to.

  • Prepare HSE plans and risk assessments under the supervision of the head of SHEQ.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of the Integrated management System (IMS) and ensure that documents and records are reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
  • Review Company HSE systems to ensure compliance with current standards.
  • Ensure that all accidents incidents and near misses are reported and documented.
  • Ensure that incidents are investigated; Risk Assessments are reviewed post incident and recommendations and corrective actions are followed through.
  • Ensure employees and thirdparty contractors have a clear understanding and adhere to the company's IMS.
  • Conducting HSE audits and inspections.
  • Implementation and maintenance of ISO and ISO 45001.
  • Promote Health and Safety awareness within the Horizon Group.
  • Assist with investigations where required.
  • Prepare documentation associated with audits and inspections.
  • Compile monthly company safety statistics and trend graphs ensuring that the correct data is recorded and distributed.

Your qualities and experience
You can make your mark as a HSE Advisor if you have:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Oil and Gas industry.
  • Aramco HSE approvals are benefits.
  • Good in MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Health and Safety Experience.

  • Where you will work: You will be working in our office in SAIF Zone Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
  • Fulltime/ part time job: The position of HSE Advisor is a fulltime job.
