Job Description: Warehouse Manager (Abu Dhabi)

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution of defense-related materials and equipment.
• Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse personnel. Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient and effective operation.
• Inventory Control: Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accurate tracking of stock levels, minimize losses, and ensure the timely availability of materials.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and training to maintain a safe working environment.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials. Manage and optimize the use of warehouse space and resources.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in warehouse processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational issues to senior management. Utilize data to drive decision-making and strategic planning.
• Security Management: Implement and oversee security measures to protect sensitive and valuable defense materials from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CILT) are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role. Experience in the defense sector is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory control, safety regulations, and logistics coordination.
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.

Additional Requirements:

• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required by the defense sector.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
