The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot and fix issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs duties.
Perform tasks such as parts replacements, cleaning, landscaping, and more.
Conduct regular and on-demand inspections and report each visit's findings and recommendations accurately.
Repair drywall, painting, carpentry, and minor plumbing or electrical issues.
Keep maintenance areas and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
Respond to emergency maintenance issues, such as leaks, power failures, or HVAC malfunctions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in MEP maintenance, facilities, or a related field.
Solid knowledge of plumbing, masonry, painting, carpentry, joinery, and general repairs.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple competing priorities.
Stamina to stay active throughout the workday.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts if needed.
