The job purpose of a Sales Executive is to maximize and close the sales within the assigned products/region/territory, as well as the responsibility of the collection of dues on time in full. In addition to that, the sales executive will be responsible for acquiring new customers and supporting and executing the sales strategy.
Responsibilities:
Establishing new business with potential customers and areas and achieving the monthly/annual set sales targets.
Negotiating orders & contracts with customers.
Conducting market research to identify sales opportunities and evaluating customer needs.
Attending to customer complaints & quality concerns and resolving them along with Quality/Operations.
Gathering feedback from customers or prospects and sharing it with the team internally.
Following up on payments and collections with customers.
Participating in trade exhibitions and fairs.
Promoting/selling orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
Demonstrating products and services to existing/potential customers and assisting them in selecting the best suited for their needs.
Developing clear and effective written sales proposals for current and prospective customers.
Coordinating sales efforts with sales management, accounting, logistics, and the production team.
Planning and organizing personal sales strategy for maximizing the sales revenue for the territory/segment.
Developing and maintaining sales materials and current product knowledge.
