The purpose of this position is to ensure that the supply and demand activities conducted by the business have the needed governance for contracting activities pre and post sales. The contract manager shall ensure there is a process and system in place for the management of contracts, ensuring the business is protected from risk and is compliant with business policies and governance framework.
Key Accountabilities:
Provides contractual support to the procurement team and business units to finalize agreements with selected suppliers and vendors, including drafting contracts, reviewing contracts, managing contract novation, and providing guidance based on best practices.
Provides contractual support to the procurement team and business units during complex Frame Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Software License Agreements, and Service Provider Agreements negotiations.
Involved in the contractual process and engages with internal key stakeholders for contract drafting and negotiations with customers and selected vendors.
Serves as the point of contact on contractual matters, acting as the contractual middleman between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely review and approval/reconciliation of potential variations.
Communicates and manages workflow of all contract stages, delivering periodic reports on contract progress to relevant decision-making bodies and key internal stakeholders.
Maintains contractual records, renewal dates, and documentation.
Develops and maintains effective relationships with the Legal Department.
Assists with reviewing and updating contractual templates, providing advice to relevant team members when required.
Able to project manage confidential assignments and work with relevant teams in an agreed framework.
Coordinates with different departments, including but not limited to Legal and Finance, while being proactive in coordination.
Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor's degree in legal or business.
MBA degree preferable.
Good knowledge of the procurement and supply chain field.
Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years of contract management experience.
In-depth knowledge of key commercial and legal elements and pricing structures of supplier contracts.
Knowledge of contract management and a complete understanding of Corporate Terms & Conditions.
