Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with various types of cancer
- Provide patient consultations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer chemotherapy and other medical treatments
- Monitor and manage patient responses to treatment
- Collaborate with other medical professionals including surgeons, radiation oncologists, and nurses to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in cancer research and treatment methods
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- License to practice Medicine and Oncology in the state
- Board certified in Medical Oncology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Current knowledge of cancer treatment protocols and procedures
- Ability to manage a high volume of patients and prioritize workload
