About Our Client

Our client, a leading global investment fund, is looking to expand its investment risk platform. Based in Abu Dhabi, the fund deploys significant capital across direct investments, co-investments, and fund investments. You will work on high profile projects across a variety of asset classes.

What the job involves

Assessment of investment risk associated with new deals on a standalone basis as well as their contribution to risk of the associated pool.

1. Perform regular portfolio monitoring in line with investment procedures.
2. Perform deep-dive risk analysis on sensitive investments and during crisis situations that warrant additional risk analysis.
3. Collaborate with all relevant investment teams to balance both risk oversight and advisory.
4. Take responsibility for reviewing due diligence reports, financial model assumptions & investment memos for various investment transactions.

Who we are looking for

1. Experience from one or more of the following: investment risk experience in a private equity firm, risk consulting with exposure to private assets, data science experience with experience building portfolio models.
2. You should have a degree from a top-tier university.
3. Masters and/or CFA, CAIA or FRM are preferred.
4. Experience of reviewing due diligence reports, financial model assumptions & investment memos for various investment transactions.
5. Preferred systems knowledge includes Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Power BI / Tableau, Preqin, Pitchbook etc.
6. Willingness and ability to relocate and be based in Abu Dhabi.
