Job Responsibilities

The candidate must have Radiographic and Ultrasonic Inspection experience and certification. Responsible for performing non-destructive evaluation (NDE) operations, NDI equipment calibration, and releasing reports as per approved procedures for ultrasonic testing and radiographic testing.

Accountabilities & Activities

Key Accountabilities

1. NDT Testing

Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.

1. Set up the NDT equipment for inspection and calibration.
2. Evaluate inspection results for acceptance or rejections according to specifications/procedures.
3. Assist in developing and documenting techniques for the inspection of composite components utilizing Radiographic, Ultrasonic, and other approved NDT methods.
4. Assist in training Level 1 & trainees in methods he is qualified.
5. Maintain accurate and complete records.
6. Assist in establishing NDI process improvement.

Working Conditions

Office-based job with location as Al-Ain. Normal working conditions and normal physical effort.

Process: Maintain Customer and Certification Bodies' Approvals. Customer Rejection Rate due to inadequate NDT Testing.

Qualifications/Requirements

Necessary Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in NDT.

Education & Certification Requirements: Diploma/Bachelor or equivalent from an internationally accredited college. EN4179/NAS410 Level 2 Qualification in method UT/RT on similar products.
