Design Engineer – Moulds - Automotive industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design of all thermoforming or GRP parts and molds required in production of vehicles.
• Review the parts designed by D.E for suitability of molding or forming and suggest required changes for parts extraction.
• Prepare design of blocks required for machining molds and release 2D and 3D data for manufacturing.
• Communicate with all parties involved on project to validate designed parts on terms of integration on vehicle (Electric, Manufacturing, mounting).
• In charge of using non-conventional technologies for rapid prototyping such as 3D scanning & 3D printing.
• Other Engineering related works as instructed by Engineering Manager & Engineering Director.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in related field.
• Relevant experience in Solid Works or similar design solution is a must.
