We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth patient experience at our clinic or hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous manner.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries related to medical services.
Register new patients and update medical records in the system.
Process insurance claims, payments, and billing transactions.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records and comply with healthcare regulations.
Assist in handling patient concerns and provide information about services.
Requirements:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a hospital, clinic, or medical center.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare management software.
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
Customer service-oriented with a professional attitude.
Language: Fluency in English is required (Arabic or other languages is a plus).
Availability: Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
