Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Floating RFQ following up and evaluation of different offers as per project requirement.
  2. Reviews orders, creates PO, and manages approval process.
  3. Order realization to vendors, delivery follow-ups, material receipt, and dispatch to various customers/projects.
  4. Tools and equipment management.
  5. Managing shipping and logistics operations.
  6. Maintaining various records and weekly forecast/log sheets for internal customer and management review and regular updates.
  7. Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
  8. Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  9. Reviewing, comparing, and analyzing products and services to be purchased.
  10. Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
  11. Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
  12. Keep detailed records of transactions for an easily accessible database of what has been purchased, from whom, contact information, and particulars regarding costs and deliveries. Also, make notes in files about specific suppliers such as those that are good at fulfilling rush orders and those that have previously made errors in their shipments.
  13. Getting a good price for items in the quantity desired, delivered in a satisfactory time frame. Also, discuss needs with vendors to work out appropriate arrangements.
  14. Inspect the quality of the shipments received. In case of problems, contact the sender to inquire about the delay or to fix the order to bring it up to par with expectations. Also, keep track of stock on hand in order to make requests to replenish when inventory is low.
  15. Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the customer.
  16. Ensure smooth flow of the logistic activities by identifying potential weaknesses/obstacles.
  17. Track order acknowledgment, prepare and communicate shortage and backlog reports, and provide visibility of potential interruptions to customers.
  18. Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations until products or services are delivered to the customer.
  19. Clear the shipments and avail duty exemption FANR TRA and ESMA approval for Oil & Gas Companies.
  20. Work with team members and Procurement & Logistics Manager to complete duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
