Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Abu Dhabi (6 months) - up to AED 230,000

Our client, a leading consultancy, are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and project cost tracking for a partner in the construction industry on a 6 month contract.

Essential requirements:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in construction or a project-based environment
• Strong understanding of Middle Eastern tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience using accounting software (DATEV, Tagetik, or similar)
• Fluent in local languages and English (B2/C1 level)
• Strong skills in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and project cost tracking
• Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

What will you be doing?

This role involves handling bookkeeping, tracking and managing project costs, assisting with month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with Middle Eastern tax regulations. You’ll support cost control efforts and use accounting software to produce accurate financial reports.
