LPG Draftsman

Qualifications & Skills

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field
2. Proven experience in LPG, NG, SNG gas systems with a minimum of 3 years experience
3. Proficiency in CAD software (AUTOCAD)
4. Familiarity with relevant gas codes and standards (NFPA, BS, UAE Fire & Security Codes)
5. Knowledge of DOE, ADNOC and ADCD regulations
6. Strong Technical and Mathematical Skills
7. Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience

1. Previous work experience in LPG, NG, SNG gas systems in UAE or GCC countries
2. Knowledge of DOE, ADNOC and ADCD regulations

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare Technical Drawings and Layouts
   Create detailed technical drawings, layouts and schematics for LPG gas distribution using AUTOCAD.
   Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for gas systems.
2. Design & Plan LPG Systems
   Design LPG storage tanks, gas pipelines and distribution systems within buildings.
   Ensure that designs comply with local and international safety codes and standards (E.g. NFPA, UAE Civil Defense and Abu Dhabi Municipality Guidelines).
3. Coordination
   Coordinate with Project Manager, Maintenance Manager, Engineers and other stakeholders to finalize designs.
   Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications from concerned parties.
4. Documentation and Reporting
   Prepare and maintain as-built drawings and project documentation.
   Provide technical support and documentation during installation and inspection phases.
5. Compliance and Quality Control
   Ensure designs adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
   Assist in conducting risk assessments related to gas systems installations.
