Finance Business Partner, Management Accounts

Leading UAE bank is currently seeking to strengthen their financial division with the hire of a dynamic Finance Business Partner within their Management Accounting structure.

Working with the Head of Finance, the role will play an integral part in providing and developing the management accounting and reporting processes. The primary focus of the role will be supplying greater insight into business performance (both on a segmental and product basis) and tracking business trends through the use of internal and external KPIs.

In unison with Finance and respective business units, the job holder will be expected to help drive the business forward by playing a key role in the wider budgeting and forecasting processes and compilation of business cases to support new products and/or initiatives across all business units.

Accountabilities:

1. Preparation of weekly and monthly management reports.
2. Assist and support management reporting cycles.
3. Monitor and highlight performance against budgets and forecasts, explaining variances to BUs and Finance.
4. Assist and support forecasting, budgeting, and planning cycles.
5. Aid completion of business cases to support new product launches and/or initiatives.

Challenges:

1. Working to and meeting deadlines with high standard output essential as financial reports and management information presented to senior management.
2. Self-motivated individual who is able to see the “big picture” and assess options for continuous improvement and development of team performance and internal processes.
3. Possess a good working knowledge of management accounting practices and methodologies.
4. Required to operate autonomously and make decisions without the need for senior management.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Qualified Accountant (ACA or CIMA preferred).
2. 3 - 5 years experience within a Management Accounting position.
3. Sound knowledge of Management Accounting practices and methodologies.
4. Good communication in English (verbal and written).
5. Good interpersonal skills.
6. Arabic an advantage.
