Position: Sr. Backend Engineer (PHP, Node.js, Java, Golang)

The Backend Engineer will work as an integral part of the Development team, implementing and maintaining company web-based services in compliance with our internal quality standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
2. Think critically from the customers’ perspective to make appropriate design choices.
3. Take accountability and ownership in solving business-critical failures, issues, and risks.
4. Meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, adapt to change, and achieve effective results.
5. Collaborate well within a team with an eagerness to learn and grow.
6. Apply professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
7. Investigate root causes of bugs and crashes, writing code to mitigate issues and make appropriate fixes.
8. Have an understanding of micro-services, web-services, cloud technologies, cloud databases, and open-source technologies.
9. Develop cloud software services with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
10. Communicate with users, technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements and describe software product features.
11. Monitor app performance and relevant metrics using third-party tools such as New Relic and Stack Driver, raising alerts when necessary.
12. Implement continuous integration workflows.

Experience: 5 - 11 Years

Salary: 50 Lac to 1 Crore P.A.

Industry: IT Software - Application Programming / Maintenance

Qualification: Other Bachelor Degree
