Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Social Project Coordinator to manage the operational aspects of our social media projects. The role will focus on tracking project progress, maintaining schedules, sending updates, and ensuring smooth coordination among teams. This position requires strong organisational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination
  2. Maintain and update the project tracker to ensure all tasks, deliverables, and timelines are recorded accurately
  3. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met
  4. Identify dependencies and potential delays, flagging them to relevant stakeholders
  5. Administrative Support
  6. Schedule and organise meetings related to social media projects and campaigns
  7. Take detailed meeting minutes, capturing key decisions, action items, and timelines
  8. Distribute meeting minutes and follow up on assigned action points to ensure completion
  9. Status Reporting
  10. Prepare and share regular project status updates, highlighting progress, milestones, and any roadblocks
  11. Communicate project updates clearly to internal stakeholders and leadership
  12. Compile performance and operational reports as needed
  13. Risk and Issue Management
  14. Proactively monitor project dependencies and raise any concerns regarding delays or misaligned priorities
  15. Escalate challenges to the appropriate team members or managers for resolution
  16. Process Management
  17. Maintain accurate documentation of all project-related activities and updates
  18. Ensure all projects follow established workflows and processes
  19. Work closely with the team to streamline project operations and improve efficiency
  20. Ensure compliance with internal operational guidelines and brand standards

Key Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience:
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  3. 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or administrative roles, ideally in a marketing or social media environment
  4. Skills:
  5. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise reporting
  7. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project)
  8. Basic understanding of social media platforms and workflows
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace tools
  10. Personal Attributes:

  12. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
  13. Strong follow-up and accountability mindset to ensure tasks are completed on time

Preferred Qualifications:
