The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing employee training and development programs. They assess training needs, develop training materials, and deliver training sessions. The Learning and Development Specialist also evaluates training effectiveness and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning objectives.
Design, develop, and update training materials, such as manuals, guides, and multimedia presentations.
Plan and deliver training sessions, workshops, and webinars for employees.
Evaluate training effectiveness using surveys, assessments, and feedback mechanisms.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate and up-to-date.
Monitor and report on employee participation and training outcomes.
Research and recommend new training methods and technologies.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to employees regarding their learning and development goals.
Collaborate with HR teams to align training initiatives with organizational goals and strategies.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and delivering training programs.
Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using learning management systems and e-learning tools.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
