Electrical Engineer MEP

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in MEP systems in the UAE for immediate joining. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems within the MEP domain that are aligned with UAE regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Documentation:

1. Develop detailed electrical designs and shop drawings for MEP projects, including power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
2. Ensure designs comply with DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA, and other UAE authorities' standards.

Installation & Supervision:

1. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
2. Conduct site inspections and ensure project execution aligns with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Coordination:

1. Collaborate with MEP teams (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC) to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
2. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project timelines and quality.

Compliance & Documentation:

1. Prepare and submit required documents for approvals (e.g., load schedules, cable schedules).
2. Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and energy efficiency guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on MEP experience in the UAE.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical design software.
2. Strong understanding of UAE authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA).
3. Familiarity with energy-efficient solutions and green building standards (LEED certification is a plus).
4. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Certifications:

1. UAE Society of Engineers membership preferred.
2. Valid UAE driver’s license.
