EPC Marine Civil Construction Manager to oversee the on-site execution of large-scale marine construction projects, including quay walls, breakwaters, beach profiling, dredging, and other related civil works. This role requires a hands-on leader with extensive technical knowledge, on-site management experience, and a commitment to delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and according to the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction activities, coordinating teams to ensure all work is conducted in accordance with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
Ensure efficient resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and project flow.
Manage specialized marine civil construction projects, including quay walls, breakwaters, beach profiling, dredging, and other related civil works.
Ensure all construction activities meet environmental guidelines and permitting requirements, upholding corporate sustainability standards.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate schedules, resolve site challenges, and align on project goals.
Report progress, delays, and any site issues to senior management, ensuring transparency and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, marine engineering, construction management, or an equivalent.
Deep knowledge of marine construction methodologies, including structural installation, coastal, and dredging operations.
Familiarity with construction safety regulations, environmental compliance, and quality control best practices.
Proven ability to lead diverse on-site teams effectively, maintain morale, and foster a collaborative, safety-focused work environment.
Strong communication abilities and leadership experience.
