Job description

Job Purpose: The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for delivery of training to the Dermatology team, ensuring the consistent delivery of high quality knowledge and skills. He/She will work with the Sales team and all other internal stakeholders to ensure care and services are delivered effectively across the region. The Clinical Trainer will undertake any other related duties as and when appropriate according to the demands of the business. Knowledge of all products across dermatology line.


Job Description

  1. Promote an environment conducive to learning by undertaking the role of practice educator. Working as a clinical trainer group, develop, organise and evaluate training programmes. Participate in the delivery of formal/informal teaching/training. Attend and present at study days, conferences and courses. Coordinate appropriate orientation programmes for all new and returning staff. Facilitate supervision on field for field staff.
  2. To promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of product knowledge through research and evidence‐based practice, assist in writing work instructions and training packages. Through field visits, supervise, sign off and monitor skills competence and progress, ensuring any issues are identified and addressed and feedback provided to the relevant line manager.
  3. Undertake evaluation and audit of the service and provide reports as required. Documentation to be completed accurately using company approved documentation, in line with AMICO and regulatory standards.
  4. To act in accordance with company standard operating procedures and guidelines. Adhere to regulations required in accordance with the AMICO's Code.
  5. The post holder should be reliable, responsible and professional. They should be responsible on a day to day basis for providing all required clinical training.
  6. The post holder will be field based and will be expected to travel within the region to support the delivery of services.
  7. Maintain a master schedule of training programs, schedule participants for courses as needed and update records regarding course attendance and information pertinent to training.

Candidate Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or Biomedical Engineering or related fields.

Experience: 1-3 years of work experience in conducting trainings in a clinical/healthcare setup or related industry. Experience in the medical device industry will be advantageous.
