Are you an experienced IT professional with a strong background in Backup and Storage Technologies? We are hiring for a Principle Systems Engineer Enterprise Backup for a leading bank in Abu Dhabi!

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive backup strategies aligned with organizational objectives and regulations.
• Oversee and optimize on-premise and cloud-based backup and storage systems for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring data availability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
• Perform system checks, upgrades, and enhancements to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.
• Proactively mentor junior staff and liaise with vendors for system integration and upgrades.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: 12+ years in IT, with at least 5 years in the banking industry.

Certifications: Proficiency in platforms like Commvault, Spectrum Protect (TSM), Veritas NetBackup, AWS Cloud, and Azure Cloud, among others.

Skills: Expertise in scripting, automation, data recovery, and compliance with data protection standards.
