Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc./B.Eng./M.Sc.)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry or electrical power generation
- Minimum of 3 years proven capability in an engineering design company
- Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
- Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
- Highly motivated and self-reliant
- Open analytic thinker and innovator
- Good communicator with willingness to share knowledge and support others
- Strong commitment to safety
- Clear communicator with good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Electrical Discipline Manager, the candidate will assume sole responsibility for assigned Electrical engineering work scopes.
- To prepare Electrical deliverables for a project in the oil and gas industry, and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client's policies and procedures.
- To carry out sizing calculations for electrical equipment such as Cables, Earthing System, Lighting System, Transformers, Switchboards.
- To prepare/provide input to designers for Single Line Diagrams, Protection and Metering Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Interconnection drawings.
- To prepare/provide input to designers for Cable Routing Layouts, Lighting Layouts, Earthing Layouts, and associated MTOs.
- To ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
- To promote safe behaviour at all times.
- To co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up.
