Role Brief
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities while building strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the logistics sector. Your strategic insight, market analysis, and proactive approach will drive the growth of JD Logistics in the Dubai, ensuring we remain a leader in innovative supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in the logistics sector across the UAE and beyond.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to expand our customer base.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized logistics solutions that meet client requirements.
Contract Negotiation & Sales Support:
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to secure profitable deals.
- Provide strategic support to sales teams, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including revenue growth, client retention, and market share.
- Continuously refine business development strategies to drive sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
