Senior OpenShift Engineer

We are looking for a Senior OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift container platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of containerized workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• Automate container orchestration and microservices deployments.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and integrate DevOps best practices.
• Monitor system performance, security, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and optimize OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with developers, security, and operations teams.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Linux, Networking.
• Cloud Expertise: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Security & Compliance: RBAC, IAM, logging, monitoring, and security best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience with container orchestration and microservices architectures, demonstrating practical application knowledge.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby for automation and process optimization.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, and service meshes in a Kubernetes context.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and devise effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset, with a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies quickly to stay current in the rapidly evolving cloud landscape.
