Al Douri Group is seeking a Procurement Officer to oversee activities related to the procurement of indirect materials, parts, and equipment. The role involves ensuring the timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services, maintaining positive supplier relationships, evaluating supply options, confirming purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
Manage Indirect Procurement activities to source materials, equipment, and services in alignment with organizational requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Monitor purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders to approved vendors.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures during the procurement process.
Track order statuses, resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality concerns, and ensure on-time delivery.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast material requirements and manage inventory effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven (3+ Years) experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably as an Indirect Procurement Officer or in a similar position, with an experience of category management within a diverse range of indirect services and an ability to manage multiple projects for the business efficiently.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management practices.
