Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with 5-8 years of experience in project execution in industrial electrical systems, including road, building, and industrial constructions. Responsibilities include planning, reporting, resource management, CRM, MIS, client communications, and using all kinds of surveyor equipment with the latest technology like TS/GPS. Understanding and reviewing of drawings and having good knowledge of calculations is essential. Team motivation and situation handling are also key aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit cost estimates, budgets, and progress reports for construction projects
• Conduct feasibility studies and advise clients on the costs of proposed projects
• Manage and analyze project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and implement cost-effective solutions
• Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractors
• Maintain accurate records of all project costs and expenses
• Attend site meetings and provide progress reports to project managers

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in the Gulf job market
• Strong understanding of construction processes and procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Experience with cost estimating, budgeting, and progress reporting
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
