Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer Job Vacancy in Sharjah, UAE

We are looking for a dynamic Civil Engineer to join our team in Sharjah. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of the principles of civil engineering and be able to work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

1. Design plans, drawings, and specifications for civil engineering projects
2. Monitor progress of projects to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget
3. Conduct site visits to gather data on existing conditions
4. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs and other topographical or geologic data
5. Estimate quantities and cost of materials for construction projects
6. Prepare technical reports on the progress of projects
7. Oversee construction activities onsite to ensure compliance with safety regulations
8. Monitor compliance with building codes and other regulations
9. Ensure accuracy in all designs/drawings/specifications related to civil engineering projects

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
2. Familiarity with structural design software such as AutoCAD & SAP2000
3. Understanding of design principles related to civil engineering projects
4. Excellent problem-solving skills & attention to detail
5. Ability to work under minimal supervision
6. Valid UAE driver’s license (preferred)
7. Work experience is not required but is a plus

Salary:

AED 1300 per month
